Are you in a rush and need a quick healthy breakfast? Why not try overnight oats? They taste of chocolatey goodness are ready and waiting for you in the fridge in the morning!
Makes 1 serving
1/2 cup traditional oats
1/3-1/2 cup milk or milk substitute
1 scoop protein powder
1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 packet or 1 tsp. stevia
1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
1/2 cup fruit (optional)
Combine oatmeal, milk, protein powder, cocoa and sweetener in a container, cover, and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, stir the mixture and top with 1/2 cup of fruit. Enjoy!
Note: You may need to add more milk to the mixture in the morning to reach the desired consistency.
